How to Prepare for Your Spa Move

Measure Your Space:
Use a tape to measure your spa’s dimensions. Most spas are between 740mm–960mm high. When transported on a spa dolly, the spa will be on its side, so you’ll need to check your narrowest access points, aim for at least 840mm to 1 meter wide clearance.

Can we Reach with the Mini Hiab

• We need to be within 7m of the final destination.
• Are there overhead power lines?
• Can we access the area from the neighbour’s driveway?
• Can we access from your yard? We need a gap of 2.3m!

Things to Check Before Moving Your Spa

• Gates, fences, and windows
• Power meters, vents, and air conditioning units
• Low-hanging branches, tree limbs, gutters, or overhanging structures
• Pathway obstacles, narrow turns, or steps—removing these beforehand makes the job smoother

Extra Tips:

• For steep slopes or ramps, or if stairs are involved, let us know in advance.
• If you have more than three steps or challenging terrain, extra manpower or ramps may be needed to keep costs down.

Our standard prices cover deliveries within 25km of Hamilton. Extra charges may apply for:

• Steep slopes or uneven terrain
• Crane or mini Hiab lifts
• Multiple steps or require ramps and scaffolding
• Removing trees, fences, or obstacles blocking access
• Installing accessories or disposing of old spas and pallets

For challenging terrain, steep slopes, or ramps, please inform us beforehand. You’re welcome to organise extra helpers to keep costs lower.
