Delivery of a Hot Springs Spa Pool After a Cyclone: Overcoming Challenges on a Muddy Building Site
At Reach Cranes, we pride ourselves on getting the job done no matter the conditions. Recently, we faced a tough challenge delivering a Hot Springs Spa Pool in the aftermath of a cyclone, which left the backyard wet and muddy.
Navigating a four-wheel-drive crane onto the site was just the beginning. The muddy terrain proved tricky, even with our high-absorption (high ABS) crane and four-wheel-drive (4×4) capabilities. We engaged the four-wheel drive and differential lock to gain traction, but the thick mud still had us stuck.
To solve the problem, we disconnected the trailer, drove the mini crane to the left side of the site, and used the crane’s winch to pull the trailer closer. With careful maneuvering, we lifted the spa over the fence using the crane’s lifting capabilities.
